the milling process

Before starting the milling process, every cereal gets through three cleaning phases:
  1. PRE-CLEANING: it happens when the farmers confer the cereal to the mill, just before the storage in the cells.
  2. SECOND CLEANING: very deep,it tends to exclude foreing bodies from the cereals, such as straw, dirt, little stones. This happens through a classic cleaning process but even with a scan through a optical selection machine with thirteen cams, one of which is infra-red. The not appropriated parts are excluded, like deteriorated or not corresponding cereals.
  3. THIRD CLEANING: last but not least phase, is the surface decortication of the caryopsis phase. This very important phase tends to remove the grain most external layer allowing the client to get in touch with an ideal microbiologic product.     

Once comleted all the described phases, the cereal is perfect, ready to be stone milled with the Sima stone.
